ETERNA Collection Ludwig van Beethoven - Eroica - Sinfonie No. 3 Es-dur 180 Gramm Vinyl
Diese Sonderpressung umfasst 11 Vinyl LP, welche 2008 von edelclassic neu gepresst wurden. Dabei wurden die Original Bänder von Eterna im DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) Verfahren auf 180 Gramm Vinyl gepresst.
Das DMM-Schneidverfahren wurde 1981 von der Firma Teldec (Telefunken-Decca) in Kooperation mit Georg Neumann, als Weiterentwicklung des Lackschnittes eingeführt. Dabei wird das Tonmaterial (hier von den originalen Eterna Bändern) mittels eines diamantbesetzten Schneidstichels in eine mit Kupfer beschichtete Edelstahlplatte geschnitten.
Die Originalaufnahme wurde 1956 aufgenommen und 1955 bei VEB Deutsche Schallplatten Berlin verlegt.
