Hollow banana with soldering lug 4 pieces
The ultimate banana plug for your speaker cable. The low mass of the plug suppresses unwanted memory effects and also relieves the strain on your connection terminals.
Your speaker cable is soldered directly to the existing soldering lug (please ensure that the solder is of high quality, ideally silver solder with a high proportion of silver), which results in a maximum contact area and also represents a permanent connection. The advantage is that you need less solder and the movement of the banana plug does not cause it to loosen. This is because plugging the banana into your terminals always causes the plug to be slightly depressed, which can lead to the connection coming loose.
With suitable shrink tubing, the transition can be neatly and elegantly concealed.
The hollow banana can be used with speaker cables with a cross-section of up to 4 mm².
